Sound familiar?

7:42am

The morning battle

Shoes, bag, breakfast. Every. Single. Morning. By the time they're in the car you're already depleted, and the school day hasn't started.

2:15pm

The school call

You see the number and your stomach drops. Another incident. Another meeting. Another round of "have you tried..." from people who see your child for 20 minutes.

11:47pm

The spiral

You've read everything. You're doing your best. But you're exhausted, second-guessing yourself, and you just need someone to tell you what to actually do.

You don't need another waitlist or a stack of generic advice. You need a plan for Tuesday morning, and someone who has spent 10 years on the inside of the system you're navigating.

This is the plan you've been looking for. Built by someone who has run these meetings.

4 weeks. 24 lessons. Calmer mornings, fewer meltdowns and a school that finally gets it, because you know how to make them.

What's inside

4 weeks · 24 lessons · strategies

Week1

Understanding Your Child's Brain

This is neurology, not naughtiness

  • What ADHD really is, beyond the textbook definition
  • Executive function explained, and why it makes ordinary things hard
  • Handling other people's opinions without losing your footing
  • Why ADHD parenting feels so hard, and why that isn't a failure
  • Meet three families you'll follow through the whole course
Week2

Calming the Home

One flashpoint at a time

  • Morning routines: troubleshooting the ones that keep breaking
  • Homework: picking your battles
  • Time blindness, and solutions that actually work
  • Bedtime: the science-based approach
  • Screen time: building a policy that fits your family
  • The three families, two weeks in
Week3

Big Emotions

What's underneath the meltdown

  • RSD: the hidden pain behind so many meltdowns
  • Co-regulation: your calm is the key to their calm
  • Emotional literacy: if they can name it, they can tame it
  • Friendship challenges, and the honest truth about them
  • Meltdowns versus tantrums, and why the difference changes your response
  • The three families through the emotional week
Week4

Winning at School

Advocacy, support and the path forward

  • Talking to teachers: how to communicate so it lands
  • Adjustments and learning support: what your child should be getting
  • Navigating funding and formal support
  • Self-advocacy: teaching your child to speak up
  • Neurotypical siblings: preventing resentment before it sets in
  • Celebrating strengths, and looking forward with hope

Real families · real results

You'll follow three families through every week: honest wins, honest setbacks.

So you see the strategies working on kids like yours, not textbook examples.

Emmaage 9

Predominantly inattentive

Quiet, compliant at school, then completely dysregulated at home. Emma's mum couldn't understand why the school kept saying she was "fine".

Raviage 7

Predominantly hyperactive-impulsive

Three school meetings in six months. Ravi's family were exhausted and starting to internalise the school's framing of him as "the problem".

Miaage 11

Combined presentation

Mia's family needed to navigate both the emotional regulation side and the school funding system. Her NCCD journey runs through the whole course.

This course is for you if…

  • Parents of children with an ADHD diagnosis, or currently pursuing one
  • Parents exhausted from daily battles over homework, bedtime and mornings
  • Parents who feel like they're failing because generic parenting advice doesn't work for their child

  • Parents who want to understand WHY their child does what they do

This might not be right if…

  • Your child is under 4: the strategies are designed for school-age children
  • You're looking for medical advice: this isn't a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment
  • You want a quick fix: sustainable change takes time and consistency

★★★★★
Laura gave us hope when my 10-year-old son's ADHD was overwhelming our family—homework fights, meltdowns, zero focus at school. Her practical, neuroaffirming strategies turned chaos into progress: tailored routines, teacher communication templates, and tools that built his confidence fast. We've seen real change in months. Laura's expertise and empathy are unmatched—highly recommend for any parent in the trenches.

★★★★★
Laura took the time to understand our child's unique needs and created a tailored approach that actually works in real life. We've seen improvements in communication, emotional regulation, and overall confidence. More importantly, we feel more equipped as parents, with practical strategies we can use every day. Laura's patience, understanding, and expertise have made such a positive impact on our family, and we're incredibly grateful.

★★★★★
Laura has been absolutely fantastic with the girls. She's incredibly understanding and really in tune with their needs, especially as neurodivergent learners. Even on the tougher days, she handles things with patience, calmness, and genuine care. The girls can be challenging at times but she meets them where they are and adapts so naturally to support them. We've seen such a positive impact already and I couldn't recommend her more!

Questions

No. NeuroKind is a parent education service, not a clinical or therapeutic practice. Laura is a UK-qualified teacher who spent seven years in school SENCo teams, not a psychologist, psychiatrist or occupational therapist. If you have clinical concerns about your child's health or development, please work with a registered professional alongside this course.

Yes. A diagnosis gives you the name, but the strategies in this course work on the daily flashpoints regardless of whether a formal assessment has happened. Many families find the course useful precisely because they're waiting on a referral and need something practical now.

You have lifetime access. There's no schedule to fall behind on. Work through the lessons at whatever pace fits your life. Most families do about two lessons a week; some sit down on a weekend and move faster. Both are fine.

Liora is NeuroKind's 24/7 support companion, built by Laura, trained on the same approach as the course. It's available for the moments between lessons: the 11pm spiral, the school-morning crisis, the question you forgot to ask. Liora Plus (normally a paid subscription) is included free for 12 months with every course purchase.

Yes. Complete the first two weeks and genuinely try the strategies with your child. If you don't see a difference, email laura@neurokind.com.au within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. We only want your money if this actually helps your family. Note: a refund ends your course access.

The strategies are most relevant for children aged 4–14. The school advocacy content is written for primary and early secondary. If your child is older, most of the home content still applies. Email laura@neurokind.com.au if you want to talk through whether it's a good fit.
